Branding from Scratch for a Marketing Agency
When I was hired as Art Director at synmedico in 2021, right after the pandemic, it was already planned that I would eventually join the newly established marketing department. At that time, I was the sole graphic designer & art director responsible for the entire company internally. The concept was that doctors using the infoskop software in their practices could also book marketing services, such as photoshoots, new websites, SEO, social media and corporate design, through the software. These requests would then be handled accordingly.
Our CEO at the time wanted to name the new company docvolution (combination of=doctor+evolution), aiming for it to stand out as a young, bold, startup-like business. Our main goal was to stand out in the dental and healthcare field, which doesn’t always have to be conservative and sterile. I chose orange for its dynamic, young, and fresh appearance, incorporating style elements like the “!” in the design.
From the very beginning, I was involved in the creation process, developing the company’s corporate identity, style guide, presentation slides and designing all necessary marketing materials and merchandising. Over the course of two years, I supported both internal operations and various projects.
After a year and a half of growth and new clients at docvolution marketing agency, we took on an internal sales project for synmedico. I designed customizable templates for a dental guarantee concept portfolio, allowing clients to adapt them to their own logos and branding. Similar to my work at docvolution, I was also responsible for synmedico’s internal projects, including design for event planning, merchandising, and giveaways.
