Special Dietary Needs Don’t Have to Be Boring – Restaurant Branding
heal meal was my communication design diploma project, inspired by the lack of appealing special dietary products and the challenges of restaurant communication. Many products looked sterile and uninviting, and people with dietary restrictions often had to constantly ask about ingredients. I developed a comprehensive concept and branding to make dining more inclusive and enjoyable.

To create a more approachable and friendly identity, I designed a handwritten logo. For food photography, I avoided focusing on detailed ingredients from specific meals and instead emphasized bold, inviting colors and textures reminiscent of ingredients to engage the target audience.

To enhance the dining experience, my concept introduced dedicated menus—gluten-free, nut-free, sugar-free, or vegetarian—allowing customers to order safely and stress-free.

Additionally, I designed restaurant stationery, menu categories, brochures, table set stationery, a welcoming waitress outfit, and branded merchandise.
